Ministries

Church Council
The Church Council consists of ministry leaders in addition to the Pastor. These individuals are church acknowledged Ministers, Deacons, Evangelists, etc. The function of this council is to provide spiritual guidance, training and program leadership in addition to their individual responsibilities. The Pastor is the Chair of this Council.

Board of Deacons
The Deacons are responsible for assisting the Pastor with the ministry and spiritual care and development of the church, including the two ordinances of Baptism and Communion.

Deaconess Ministry 
The Deaconess Ministry is responsible for supporting the church ministry programs and assisting the Pastor and Deacons with preparation for various programs, services and ordinances. The Deaconess also assist the Deacons with Ward care.

 Executive Board of Trustees
The Executive Board of Trustees is the primary business and management oversight for the church. The congregation gives the Executive Board the authority to carry out fiduciary duties that have been outlined in the church Constitution and Bylaws.

Christain Education 
Has oversight of Christain Education faculty and curriculum, including Bible Study, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School.

Sunday School
Has oversight of the Sunday School ministry. Maintains attendance records.

Hospitality & Ushers Ministry 
The Hospitality & Ushers  Ministry is responsible for supporting the church ministry programs by welcoming members and visitors to the sanctuary and being attentive and responsive to the needs of the congregation during worship services and other church programs.

Transportation Ministry 
Provides transportation to worship services, vacation bible school, and other special programs as needed.

 Youth Ministry  
This committee plans and oversees all extracurricular youth activities.

 Food Service Ministry 
Coordinates kitchen operations for special services held at the church.

 Health Ministry 
The Health Ministry provides health education and support to members of the congregation and community through periodic health fairs, seminars, workshops, newsletters, and programs, and are available as needed for minor emergencies during weekly worship services.

Willing Workers 
Senior group focused on supporting goals and projects designed to address needs of the church.

Women’s Ministry 
Meetings every Monday after the second Sunday.
